This trail, with its amazing and atherogenic view on the nature of Val Bognanco, climbs up on a constant slope. The dirt road is covered in snow during the winter but usually plowed.

The trail begins in a larch wood, which becomes more and more sparse climbing closer to the peak.

The wood leaves space to wide meadows, typical in mountains’ alps. On the last plain towards the Gattascosa mountain hut there is an astounding view on valleys and mountain chains of Ossola.
